It all started when I tried to organise my own wedding reception at home: after ringing round all the local catering companies, I soon realised the amount we had budgeted on feeding 150 guests fell far short of the sums demanded by professional caterers.

So I decided to have a go myself, with the help of some friendly restuarant staff on their days off and a chef pal's wise advice.

The day went brilliantly and everyone loved the food and gallons of champagne. Buoyed by my success I did a few friends parties and now I'm actually being paid to do someting I really love.
